Haldimann H8 - Flying Sculpture

The H8 has no hands. It is more (or should we say less?) than just a watch, it is a sculpture.

Those in the know will quickly see that the H8 is based on the H1. But for Beat Haldimann, simply leaving out the hands was not enough. He also modified the case and galvanised the numberless dial in his own workshop. The bezel has been lowered and the sapphire glass has a significantly more pronounced curvature. This uncompromising design brings out the tourbillon in all its perfection. It seems to float on the glass. This means you can marvel at its enchanting dance not only face-on but also from any side angle up to 90 degrees. The experience is difficult to put into words and cannot be compared to experiences of previous tourbillons.
